DEEPSOIL
DEEPSOIL is a software tool for the analysis of 1-D seismic response of soil columns. It allows engineers and researchers to qualitatively assess the influence of soil layers of varying stiffness on the propagated ground motion during a seismic event. Analyses in DEEPSOIL can be performed using either equivalent linear or non-linear analysis approaches. IT is particularly suited for analyzing the deep embayment deposits in the New Madrid Seismic Zone.
