MAE Center Researchers present at TCLEE 2009 Conference
TMAE Center researchers, Liang Chang and Hüseyin Can Ünen presented at the 7th International Conference on Lifeline Earthquake Engineering (TCLEE 2009) in Oakland, California, June 28 - July 1. The conference was presented by the Technical Council on Lifeline Earthquake Engineering (TCLEE) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) with a theme of Lifeline Earthquake Engineering in a Multihazard Environment. Chang gave a presentation on the recent development of transportation infrastructure network analysis at the MAEC Center, titled “Transportation System Modeling and Decision Support in the Central United States: A Case Study of St. Louis Area” by Liang Chang, Amr Elnashai, and Bill Spencer. Ünen presented the MAE Center’s progress in utility network interdependency analysis. His paper with Amr Elnashai, and Muhammed Şahin is titled "Seismic Performance Assessment of Interdependent Utility Network Systems”.
