ISET Journal of Earthquake Technology

Special Issue on ‘Structural Health Monitoring in Earthquake Engineering’ Call for Papers

ISET Journal of Earthquake Technology (http://home.iitk.ac.in/~vinaykg/iset.html) will be devoting its December, 2010 issue to the theme of Structural Health Monitoring in Earthquake Engineering. This is expected to cover various aspects of health monitoring of full-scale structures including (a) structural identification using in-situ weak and strong motion records, (b) real-time condition alerting techniques, (c) monitoring of heritage structures, (d) observed performance of mitigation measures (e.g., isolation and damping devices), (e) calibration of performance indicators and performance prediction techniques, (f) micro-tremor measurements and serviceability issues for weak ground motions. Professor J.M.W. Brownjohn, Department of Civil & Structural Engineering, University of Sheffield, UK will be the Guest Editor for this issue. Papers are invited for possible publication in this issue. Interested authors are required to submit (i) tentative title and abstract of the paper as soon as possible, and (ii) PDF file of the manuscript of the paper by June, 2010 to Editor, ISET Journal at vinaykg@iitk.ac.in.
